May 10, 2006...A good day for the Park as we meet to determine the positioning of the plaques and discuss mounting and plaque sizes.

That's James Branch on the left. He has designed the template for the plaques. The first plaque is for our World War II prisoners of war and those classified as missing in action. James' design will serve as a template for the remaining plaques. Great Job James!

On the right is Fred Williams of Marietta Trophy. Fred and his company have volunteered their time and resources to help reduce the plaque costs, and will assist us going forward. Quite frankly, Fred was a pleasant surprise, and we certainly appreciate his expertise and volunteer spirit in our park efforts. He'll also be on our Sponsors page.

We're thinking they are holding the scaled down version of the plaque we will dedicate on September 22nd.
