November 21, 2007- The Dobbins Chiefs Group has always had a vision for our park. Earlier this year, Wood + Partners, Inc., an architectural landscaping firm in Atlanta, donated it's time and spirit to provide a view of what our park can look like in the future. Our group has made a long-term committment to ensure that the park will continue to progress and eventually achieve the vision illustrated in the next drawings. Along with the monuments and memorial plaques for each of our major wars, the park of the future features a water fountain at the base of the park, eight large oak trees for shade, a park signature piece displayed in the bottom drawing, another wall with the park sign at the front of the park, and park benches, shrubbs, and flowers.
